Learn to Play

Our Mahjong classes can help you learn the ropes, or elevate and fine tune your game. Mahjong classes offer something for every level of player. Pick a class that fits your pace, your style and your goals.

All classes require a minimum of 2 participants to ensure the best experience. If a class has fewer than 2 attendees, you will be contacted to reschedule. Thank you for your understanding.

Class Types

  • In this class, you’ll be introduced to Mahjong through a structured, step-by-step approach that covers everything from identifying tiles to completing an entire game.

  • Ready to take the next step? This class reviews what you learned in the First Step session, clears up any lingering questions, and lets you play with fellow beginners so you can feel confident at the table.

  • Faster-paced and more competitive, this class is designed for players ready to test their skills. Expect quicker thinking, strategic play, and a deeper understanding of Mahjong. You’ll also learn to play variations such as Solitaire, Siamese, and Three-Player Mahj, as well as the rules for playing with coins, proper etiquette, and best practices for competitive play.

  • If you prefer a quiet setting or enjoy learning one-on-one, we can host a private session for you—or come to you for personalized instruction.

  • You can host any of our instructional Mahjong classes at your home or business and invite your friends or colleagues to join! We’ll provide everything needed to play. You’re welcome to serve snacks & drinks or have your guests bring their own. $50pp

    Host Rewards:
    • $10 off your fee for hosting one complete table
    • $20 off for hosting two complete tables
    • Host for three or more complete tables and your class is free!

    All participants must register and pay through this site, listing your name as the host.

Travel

We’re happy to bring our classes to your group outside the Wichita Falls area. A $25 travel fee applies to any location more than 25 miles from Wichita Falls. However, if you book three or more tables, we’ll waive the travel fee. You’ll need to provide a space for the class, but we can bring card tables and chairs if required.

If a class you’re interested in is full, you can join the waiting list. You’ll receive an email notification if a spot becomes available.
